Join us to bring the gift of health to life.This role is not available for any form of immigration sponsorship or support, including completion of the Form I-983 training plan required for STEM OPT.Position SummaryThe Sr. Facilities Maintenance Technician performs a wide variety of skilled trade, maintenance, and repair work across plant utilities to ensure facilities meet Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. Responsible for routine daily inspections, equipment repairs, and maintaining essential utility systems—including chillers, steam generators, HVAC controls, water purification, and fire and life safety protection. Additionally, this position oversees the safe monitoring, testing, and chemical treatment of process wastewater to maintain regulatory compliance prior to discharge.Key ResponsibilitiesUtilities Maintenance & Mechanical Repair:Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment inspections, rigging, alignment, welding, and fabrication for plant equipment.Maintain systems such as air compressors, hydraulic systems, pumps, steam generators, steam traps, dock doors/levelers, and roll-up doors.Wastewater & Water System Operations:Monitor, test, and treat process wastewater prior to city discharge to ensure full regulatory compliance.Conduct water testing on boilers and chillers, add/adjust chemicals based on test results, clean tanks, and maintain deionized (DI) water systems and water towers.Facility Inspections & Life Safety:Conduct daily routine inspections of assigned buildings and spaces.Maintain and verify operational readiness for fire suppression systems, emergency lighting, dust collection, and overall fire and life safety protection equipment.HVAC & Building Controls Management:Oversee HVAC controls and perform routine maintenance.Utilize building control software, automated system controls, PLCs, and drives to monitor energy management and facility environmental parameters.Vendor & Contractor Coordination:Work directly with OEMs, vendors, and contracted personnel for utility upgrades, wastewater services, water treatment programs, and specialized equipment repairs.Participate in cost estimates and project evaluations.Safety, Compliance & Administrative Record Keeping:Adhere strictly to OSHA health and safety standards, standard operating procedures, and GMP requirements.Maintain detailed electronic work records, water quality logs, and regulatory documentation using company software.QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience1-3 years related experience in wastewater treatment1-3 years related experience in utilities maintenanceAt least 1 year of related experience HVAC backgroundAt least 1 year of related experience with building control softwareAt least 1 year of related experience with PLCs & drivesAt least 1 year of related experience with steam systemsPhysical or Work Requirements:Performs work in manufacturing, warehouse, or production environments and requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and repetitive motion throughout the shift. Employees may be required to operate machinery or powered equipment, wear personal protective equipment (PPE), work in environments with varying temperatures, noise levels, moving equipment, or manufacturing materials, and lift or move materials weighing up to 25–50 pounds. These rewards -- plus our new recognition program -- ensure employees feel supported both at work and home. National Target Base Pay Range: $63,000.00 - $105,000.00. The salary range for this position is based on national standards. For candidates in California and the New York metro, the Target Base Pay Range is $71,000.00 - $118,000.00, to reflect the cost of living and market conditions in those areas. Actual compensation will take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, education, experience, qualifications, and job-related skills. It is not typical for an individual to be hired above the midpoint of the range for their role, and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. Base pay is only one component of our total rewards offerings, and we will take the full offering into consideration when presenting an offer of employment. Pharmavite provides compensation for all overtime hours worked by non-exempt (hourly) employees in accordance with state and federal law. The need to work overtime hours will be determined by management, based on customer and business necessity to meet the needs of our business, Pharmavite may require employees to work overtime.
